Hurricane Irma Hotel List

Alright FL friends, I will be updating this list for you to use and share as a resource. As you know, Tim and I moved earlier this year to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Having been through numerous hurricanes and evacuations, we know how frustrating it can be to try to find lodging. So, as a way to help we are going to be getting a list together of hotels, cabins, and campgrounds in the area that have occupancy.

NOTE: I don’t know what the nightly rate is, details of rooms, or anything like that. Just that they have occupancy.

So here goes:

Smoky Mountains (Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Knoxville), TN

Atlanta, GA

Montgomery, AL

In case anyone doesn’t know, raising the price of goods during a state of emergency is ILLEGAL. There’s no reason why you should be paying $30 for water or $600 for a motel room. If you see it, take a photograph and report it to the price gouging hotline 1-866-966-7226
